Meet the Team

I have been part of Bolsover Cruise Club since 2015, initially working within the administration department. I then joined the Sales Support Team where I enjoy speaking to customers, resolving any issues they may have and answering questions regarding their upcoming holiday. I enjoy helping others and ensuring everything is in place for our clients to have the best experiences possible. When I am not at work, I love nothing more than spending time with my family and our two dogs. Before working here, I had never been on a cruise holiday – and now that I have, I can’t imagine a different type of holiday for my family!

I have had many years’ experience working within customer service and have always thoroughly enjoyed talking to clients and helping them. What could be better than enabling people to arrange their dream holidays? I myself have been lucky enough to visit some fabulous locations and tick many off my bucket list. One of the best aspects of world travel is the different cuisine and, as a keen cook, I especially love to sample all the famous dishes of each new country. To relax in my spare time, I have a passion for knitting, am an avid reader and I love photography.

I moved to the travel industry after enjoying 18 years in retail. I have a passion for customer service and helping people; I love to travel and am always looking for new and exciting places to go. In my spare time, you’ll find me in a nice restaurant with a glass of red or at the park with my little boy. I love showing him the world and can’t wait to take him cruising.

I have recently graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with degree in History. My favourite topic to study was anything to do with gender history.

I have always been passionate about travelling and was lucky to be taken on my first cruise at age 13 (all booked at Bolsover) and I have been on a further four cruises. I fell in love with the entertainment, service, food and getting to see some amazing cities around the world. One of my favourite travel experiences was camping in the Mexican Calakmul Jungle for two weeks when I was 17, helping a company with conservation work for the Spider Monkey species, and spending a week at the Akumal marine site helping with Loggerhead and Green Turtle Conservation. When travelling, I love immersing myself in the culture and trying my best to speak the native language. I hope to travel for the rest of my life and that one day soon (fingers crossed) I can go to Zanzibar and Antarctica.

I joined Bolsover Cruise Club in 2022 and I can say it’s a fantastic company to work for where you get the chance to help others. I am dedicated to ensuring you have all the detail you need for your journey of a lifetime. When I’m at home, I enjoy spending time with my family and little girl, Lily.

Although I trained in Travel & Tourism during the early 90s, my career path took me in a different direction into the banking industry. I looked after a client base for 18 years and during this time, my passion for travel I’d had since childhood shone through, not least because conversations with customers always deviated to the world of travel and holidays!

I have been lucky enough to travel to some amazing destinations including a safari in Kenya and flying over the Angel Falls. I believe that the world of cruising opens the world up to see many places and experience varied cultures.

I am so pleased to be working within the industry and look forward to talking to taking care of all your travel needs.

I joined Bolsover Cruise Club in 2004; there’s nowhere better to feed the cruise bug! It was soon after I joined Bolsover Cruise Club that I experienced my first P&O Cruises holiday, which was also my first Caribbean cruise, and I haven’t looked back.

My husband Alex, daughter Evie and I now cruise as much as possible. We have been lucky enough to enjoy many different destinations on a variety of cruise ships.
From cruising around the Mediterranean on Symphony of the Seas, one of the largest ships in the world, to sailing the Norwegian Fjords on one of the smaller ships, Balmoral, I’ve loved them all.

And not forgetting the sailing from New York on the iconic and refined Queen Mary 2, just in time for Christmas. It was magical.

I love being here for our customers both face to face in our Cruise Bureau or over the phone in our contact centre. I work hard to build a genuine rapport to help you find your perfect cruise.

My name is Evie and I have worked in travel since 1987. I started on a youth training scheme after leaving school and worked my way up to assistant manager at a well-known travel agency. I was ready for a change and wanted to learn more about the cruise industry so joined Bolsover Cruise Club in 2012. The cruise industry is changing all the time with ships of all sizes, facilities and destinations, so I really feel there is something for everyone. I enjoy my job and speaking to different people every day finding the perfect cruise for them.

I love working for Bolsover Cruise Club; it’s satisfying to be recognised with our many awards and to be so well-known for our customer service, expertise and professionalism.

My 10 years’ experience in the recruitment sector gave me pleasure matching clients to the right position. The time came when I wanted to transfer those customer service skills and the joy of helping people over to the travel industry – which is when I moved to Bolsover Cruise Club. I now work in the Sales Support department and am really enjoying my role.

My interest in travel started when I did a travel and tourism course at college. After college, I worked in the coaching industry for 10 years. Since then I have worked in various jobs which have all been in customer service but in different sectors. I wanted to get back into my real interest of travel again which bought me to Bolsover Cruise Club. I like to travel, visit new places and create memories. I am looking forward to being able to provide you with great customer service and provide assistance with any queries you have.

I have recently moved over to the travel industry, though I do have several years of customer service experience. Being part of the journey of each booking is incredibly satisfying and interesting as each holiday is so unique.

I do have a real passion for travel and have been lucky enough to tick many locations off my bucket list, including New York, Paris and Florida. Outside of work, I am a keen football fan, and aim to visit as many grounds as I possible can.

Prior to joining Bolsover Cruise Club, I worked in Customer Services with a weight loss company for 13 years. My friends and family have always joked about my passion for travel and said that I was in the wrong profession, as I love nothing more than travelling. My love of travelling has taken me to Europe, America and Canada and I’m lucky to have sailed a few times on different Cunard ships with family.

When the opportunity arose to combine my passion of travel with Customer Services, I jumped at the chance. I have always loved the Customer Service aspect of a role, and this team gives us more time to dedicate to customers after the initial booking stage, helping with any queries that may arise.

In my spare time you’ll find me walking Ultra Marathons with my husband, relaxing at the cinema with friends or watching my children performing in Musical Theatre productions.

I have been in the travel industry for over 24 years now, after completing my degree in Business and Tourism. I started my career working for a tour operator where I was able travel and work in the Caribbean and Australia. I first joined Bolsover Cruise Club back in 2005, after leaving to have a family and recently re-joined the company working in the Sales Support team. I am thrilled to be back in the cruise industry where my true passion lies. I love working for Bolsover Cruise Club where customer service is central to everything we do. In my spare time, I enjoy landscape painting and yoga.

Prior to joining Bolsover Cruise Club, I worked in a Nottinghamshire secondary school for over 20 years. I love travel, discovering new places and particularly enjoy cruising. Outside of work. I enjoy spending time with my family and trying to train our dog!

In 2014, after five years in the UK travel industry, I joined the team at Bolsover as I wanted to branch out into worldwide travel. I have cruised ever since I was a small child and now continue my love for cruising with my partner and our little boy, Jude. I have now made the move from the Reservations team to join our Sales Support team. I have always loved the customer service aspect of the role and this team gives us more time to dedicate to customers after the initial booking stage, helping with any queries that may arise. In my spare time you’ll find me in a nice restaurant with a glass of Sauvignon in hand or on a walk in the peaks with my family and our little Cockapoo, Bobby.

I graduated from university in 2021 with a degree in Events Management and spent a few years as a wedding and events coordinator but ultimately fancied a change of career. I’ve always loved to travel, so when the opportunity to work for Bolsover Cruise Club came up, I couldn’t say no!

Some of my favourite childhood memories include snorkelling in the Caribbean with my family and saving sea turtles from a storm drain! My passion for travel was ignited after a three-week backpacking trip in Malawi when I was 16 years old where I climbed mountains, kayaked across lake Malawi and spent the evenings marvelling at the Milky Way. I’ve also spent time living in Spain and Colorado, USA.

My favourite thing about holidays and travelling is immersing myself in the culture, seeing sights that I can’t see at home and trying new food! Whilst I’m in the UK, I like to spend time outside – either swimming in reservoirs or rock climbing in the Peak District!

My name is Maddie, I am 45 years young. My experience is mainly travel from being a rep to cabin crew for Thomas Cook Airlines and Tui. My passion in life is F1 and my bucket list is to go to every race, oh and to swim with Great White Sharks. I am a huge Marvel geek so my son and I go to Universal Orlando for the rides and the food. I have got back into the gym and am riding my bike. Travel is my life, so I get a buzz thinking about going away. I am lucky that my best friend lives in West Hollywood, so I tend to spend time in LA. Looking forward to being part of the family and making our guests have the cruise of a lifetime.

Prior to joining Bolsover Cruise Club, I worked in a Police Control Room for 20 years. However, I have always enjoyed travelling both UK and overseas and customer service is very important to me so this role is perfect! I look forward to answering your questions and helping you to get the most from your Cruise.

Out of work, I enjoy walking around the local areas with my springer spaniels and exploring the UK with them and my husband in our touring caravan. I am also a keen baker.

I’ve recently joined the Sales Support team after moving from the administration team at Bolsover Cruise Club, prior to which I worked over 20 years in the public sector. My family and I first discovered cruising in 2018 and now have the cruise bug as we are hoping to book number six! I live with my husband, two children and our Cavapoo called Woody. When I was younger, I travelled Australia and New Zealand for a year and did a skydive and bungee jump! Not sure I’m brave enough nowadays! I love all sorts of holidays and we often go away in our campervan to Devon and Cornwall.

I have worked in the travel industry since leaving college in 2002. I started working for a coach holiday company, then moved onto a high street travel agent. It was not until I moved to Bolsover Cruise Club in 2011 that I realised I had a love for cruising!

During my time at Bolsover Cruise Club, I have been lucky enough to visit some wonderful destinations. From the beautiful Norwegian Fjords to the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. I love how cruising means you can visit so many different places in one holiday. So far, the Fjords were our favourite destination as we love the chance to walk and explore. The scenery was just stunning!

My dream destination would have to be Alaska, or maybe even sailing round the South Pacific islands. To be honest, with that much choice in cruising, I rethink my dream destination pretty frequently!

After leaving school in 2007 I went on to study travel and tourism for two years at college. I then went on to a two-year apprenticeship at a high street travel agent. I developed a huge passion for cruising thanks to time spent with my family on cruise ships when I was growing up, so when a job came up at Bolsover Cruise Club, I was delighted to be given the opportunity to join the sales team.

I love traveling and visiting new and exciting destinations. I have been lucky enough to travel to many places but my favorite cruise destination must be the Caribbean – the beaches are postcard perfect. We made some amazing memories such as climbing the Dunn’s River Falls in Jamaica, swimming with Dolphins in Amber Cove and paddle boarding in Antigua to a name a few.

Since having children, I made the decision to move from the sales department after over 10 years and join our Sales Support team to help and assist our customers with all of their cruise queries.

I joined the travel industry in 1997 and worked on the high street until 2006 selling various aspects of holidays from Butlins to Worldwide tours! I have been with Bolsover Cruise Club since April 2009. I have an all-round knowledge of many cruise destinations which I use to ensure my customers receive the information they require to make their cruise holiday most enjoyable.

Prior to starting at Bolsover Cruise Club, I hadn’t actually delved into the wonderful world of cruising, despite having a whole bucket list and a love for travel. It has been so eye-opening learning about the level of service people receive from us, as well as the destinations you just can’t get to and experience on a normal flights and hotel holidays, in comparison to a cruise or cruise and stay holiday.

My favourite destination visited so far would have to be Orlando, Florida. I have such a soft spot for Disney, you’ll quite often witness me singing my heart out whilst driving, reminiscing over my time in America.

I would love to visit South Korea; it has been on my bucket list for some time! I would consider myself a ‘foodie’, being able to taste all that Asian cuisine and immerse myself in the culture just ticks so many boxes for me. I am generally quite an active person, enjoying hiking holidays in the Lake District, Peak District, and Scotland. Being an Explorer Scout Leader has influenced this a lot and encourages me to push myself out of my comfort zone and try different activities to make the most out of each destination.

I worked in retail for eight years, but my heart has always been with travel. I love adventure and getting to have new and exciting experiences. My favourite place to visit will always be Greece – I instantly fell in love with the scenery, food and people. Other places I have visited and would love to go back to are Switzerland, Lake Maggiore and Verdon Gorge.

This year, I decided to follow my heart and dive head first into the travel industry and so I am excited to see where this path takes me.

I have worked in the travel industry for over 10 years and have been fortunate enough to travel to some amazing destinations. I have a real passion for travel and like nothing better than exploring new places and meeting the local people.

I am always looking for the next adventure to cross off of my ever-increasing bucket list.

I joined Bolsover Cruise Club in 2024, throughout my Career I have gained a wealth of experience within travel and customer service. I am passionate about travelling and organising travel for customers I believe that there is no better feeling than building bespoke holidays for those special moments that last a lifetime. One of my favourite places to visit is Mexico and I have so many more destinations that I want to add to my travel list.

I am a very family oriented, and I love to spend time with family and friends my best holiday memory is having us all together for our wedding day in Cyprus.

I joined Bolsover Cruise Club in the spring of 2013. Like any other travel agent, my desire to work here came from my love of travelling. I worked in the Sales Team until 2021 then I moved to our Sales Support Team, assisting with existing booking queries with both customers and operators. My years of working on sales has given me extensive cruise knowledge so it felt right to then assist in the Support Department.

Since joining Bolsover Cruise Club, I have been lucky enough to sample many different cruise lines for both educational and personal holidays. One of my most memorable cruises must be a river cruise on the Danube. Visiting Passau, Vienna, Salzburg, Nuremburg. Cruising down a river was just such a magical experience, so picturesque and the amount of time you get in port exploring was incredible.

I have worked in the travel industry for 27 years , the last 19 with Bolsover cruise club . I thoroughly enjoy working with such a great team who strive to provide the best service . I started my career with Bolsover cruise club in the reservations team booking cruises for our clients and helping with queries , after having my second child I decided to take a part time role in our sales support team and with my years of knowledge can help customers dealing with post cruise queries. I have a true passion for travel and have been on several cruise lines including Fred Olsen’s small ships to Royal Caribbean’s larger class , I am a big foodie so cruising is just the best choice of holiday for me. On my most recent cruise with Virgin Voyages the food was incredible , probably the best at sea I’ve experienced .

I worked in retail for six years but have always had a passion for travelling. I studied travel and tourism at college which made me love it even more. I’ve visited 30 countries including the USA, the Maldives, Thailand, Indonesia and Cape Verde. I did my first solo trip in 2022 with Contiki, travelling around Europe for six weeks. I got to meet some amazing people from all over the world and I took on lots of new adventures. I went on a cruise to Amsterdam back in 2018 and loved it, so I am looking forward to going on more in the future. I recently decided to take up my passion and delve into a job within the tourism industry.

I have a great passion for the outdoors and travel in general, and love to visit countries close to home and far away, whilst experiencing all different cultures and cuisines. One of my favourite destinations I have been to is Sorrento in Italy where I was happy wandering around taking in all the sights of the Amalfi coastline.

Working in the travel industry is very new to me, I was looking for a big change in my life, something new to excite me and I have found that! I’m looking forward to speaking with you soon and booking your new adventures.

Growing up, I was lucky enough to see many parts of the world cruising with my family. I love to visit new places and explore new cultures any chance I can get. Before my time at Bolsover Cruise Club, I completed my degree in Policing and Criminal Investigation at the University of Derby. Although I loved my degree, when I was given the opportunity to work for Bolsover Cruise Club, I jumped at it as cruising and travel is my passion.

My favourite place in the world to travel to is the Caribbean, it is the perfect place to relax but also have a lot of fun. The place I would most like to visit next would be either Hawaii or the Maldives. I am looking forward to helping you find your next perfect holiday whether you are a new or experienced cruiser.

I have worked in the travel industry since leaving college in 2009, when I joined a high street agency where my love for travel really developed. I came to Bolsover Cruise Club in the spring of 2013.

Before starting at Bolsover Cruise Club I had never been on a cruise though it’s safe to say it’s now one of my favourite ways to holiday. I got my husband to go on his first cruise in 2016 on board Oceana and since then we try to fit a cruise in each year.

Like every travel agent, I love to travel and have been lucky enough to visit quite a few destinations. My favourite long-haul spot is Orlando (who doesn’t love Mickey Mouse?)
A destination that surprised both myself and my husband whilst sailing on P&O Cruises Oceana was Ajaccio in Corsica; the beaches were simply amazing. Rome amazed me with its history and beauty and it’s definitely a place I can’t wait to go back to.

I have worked in the travel industry since leaving college in 2015 having always having a passion for travel, and have been with Bolsover Cruise Club now since February 2022.

After going on my very first cruise, I hoped it would become the first of many with so many experiences and memories to come! One of my favourite destinations to visit is the USA and I am looking forward to exploring it in much greater detail in the years to come.

I have always had a love of travel, immersing myself in new cultures and languages.  I have a particular love for Italy, having lived, studied and worked there – my home from home! I speak fluent Italian and am currently attempting to learn the Sicilian dialect. From the history and architecture of Florence, where every turn just takes your breath away, the rolling the hills of Tuscany, the expanse of vines in the prosecco region of Valdobbiadene, magical, starry evenings at the Arena di Verona to boat rides along the Amalfi Coast, I have so many amazing memories there and am looking forward to a road trip along the east coast of Sicily.

I recently discovered Morocco and have been back twice since. The vibrancy of the cities, stunning landscape, warmth of the people, amazing weather and delicious food just blew me away.

Planning holidays for my family and friends has always been my passion and I am so excited to work at Bolsover Cruise Club! I can’t wait to help people create their dream holidays!

Before joining Bolsover Cruise Club in 2024, I worked for a motor finance broker for four years. I have yet to experience my first cruise holiday, but I am excited to indulge in all the things these ships have to offer. From being a child, travel has always been a part of my life and something over time I grown to become very passion about. After studying travel and tourism at college, I decided I wanted a career in the industry and wanted to help clients create their dream holidays and make sure that every holiday was as special as the last.

My favourite destination I have been to is Pafos, Cyprus as its one I have travelled to many times and always seem to find new things to try and hidden places to see. My favourite city break would have to have Paris, as I was fortunate enough to do an afternoon cruise down the river Seine and see Notre-Dame Cathedral. My top two destinations I have always wanted to travel to is the beautiful, tranquil area of the French Polynesia and the breathtakingly stunning Petra in Jordan. Some other places I have wanted to visit is Egypt (Valley of the Kings/Queens), New Orleans, Palace of Versailles (France) and Japan.

I have worked at Bolsover Cruise Club since 2013, and in the travel industry since 1996. I started as a trainee travel consultant soon after leaving school and progressed to store manager. In between I also worked overseas in Greece as a holiday rep for three summer seasons. I decided to learn some of the Greek language at college and gained some vocational qualifications.

I have visited some amazing holiday destinations including Sri Lanka, Mexico, the Maldives and Cuba. Cruising is a passion of mine and I have been lucky enough to experience several cruise holidays. My favourite so far was a P&O Cruises holiday in the Mediterranean on-board Oceana – I had never visited Venice or Croatia before and I wasn’t disappointed. I have also experienced a river cruise down the Danube taking in both Austria and Germany; it was great to try out a different style of cruising, especially with how popular they are becoming.

In the time I have been at Bolsover Cruise Club, I have built a regular customer base and enjoy catching up with my customers and helping them with their latest cruise plans. We also have a lot of new members that have never cruised before, so I’m able to explain how it all works and pass on my personal experiences. It’s always great to hear how much they enjoyed their first ever cruise and how they’ve developed the cruising bug from then on!

I have been with Bolsover Cruise Club since 2013, following studying tourism management at university. I have been very lucky and have grown up cruising with my family through Bolsover Cruise Club, and it has become my passion. I enjoy everything cruise, from a relaxing day on deck to the newer activities such as ice skating and sky diving, nothing beats the options at sea! My favourite destinations so far the Caribbean and fantastic European cities, too many of both to pick an outright favourite!

After studying travel and tourism at college I have worked in the travel industry for the past 27 years, working for various travel agents and tour operators, covering both sales and customer service. I have been lucky enough to travel to many parts of the world with family and friends, and have experienced many different cultures.

Travelling is my passion and hope to visit more destinations on my bucket list, ranging from the USA, Far East and the Mediterranean.

I have several years’ experience in customer service, and I am always happy to help.

I have a passion for cruising and travel in general and I love sharing the excitement that a new travel adventure can bring. My favourite places I have visited so far are Norway, Germany, and the Caribbean.

A personal highlight was my Caribbean adventure on board the Britannia P&O Cruises ship for my honeymoon, which so far has been my favourite ship. I would really love to visit Australia and New Zealand; you could say these are on my travel bucket list.

In my spare time at home, I enjoy getting crafty, going for a walk with my partner and watching a good old film.

I have a huge passion for travel, having visited numerous destinations across Europe such as Rome and Paris, as well as some destinations further afield. My favourite long-haul holiday was when I went on safari in Botswana, seeing Africa’s native wildlife in the wild was a dream come true, especially tracking a herd of elephants on foot through a ravine. I also volunteered at a wildlife rehab centre in Canada for a month, spending a week in Toronto afterwards visiting Niagara Falls and kayaking around the Toronto Islands on Lake Ontario.

My bucket list holiday has to be island hopping around Southern Thailand, exploring all the beautiful beaches, kayaking round the islands and swimming amongst the coral reefs. My dream cruise would have to be visiting the Galapagos on Celebrity Flora, as I love wildlife so visiting an area with such a wide range of species would be a dream for me.

After nine years working as part of the Reservations Team here at Bolsover Cruise Club, I have moved over to our new Sales Support Team assisting our guests with questions about their existing bookings. My first cruise was over 30 years ago on P&O’s Canberra and following that cruise I certainly caught the bug for cruising and love being at sea.

Outside of work and cruise holidays, I love to holiday in Menorca or you can find me a couple of times a year on the gorgeous Holkham Beach in North Norfolk.

I joined Bolsover Cruise Club in 2023, having previously worked in variety of industries from retail to automotives. I have one grown-up son, and I love spending time with my family, holidaying, dining out and going to the theatre. I enjoy helping people and providing great customer service, so working on reception means I get to do this every day!

I have worked as part of our fab administration team since 2008. I process paperwork and send documentation for new bookings as well dealing with changes made to existing reservations. In my spare time I enjoy singing in a choir, crocheting, jewellery making or whatever new craft has inspired me that week! Most important to me though, is spending time with my husband and daughter, especially making memories in our campervan.

I joined the team as senior administrator in April 2022, I love travel and have visited some beautiful places including the Caribbean. Out of work I enjoy swimming, seeing my friends and family and getting stuck into a good series!

I have recently joined the team as a Senior Administrator. I love to travel when I can, and my favourite place so far is Lanzarote! I have always wanted to travel to New York, so hoping one day I will get there.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends.

I am a Senior Administrator and joined the admin team in April 2022. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the cinema but also I love cosy nights in and enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends.

I work in the administration department having returned to the travel industry in November 2021 after a career break bringing up my children.

My job role involves the checking and issuing of documents and paperwork once the sales team have completed the initial booking and any further ongoing administrative work that is involved with bookings. I also have taken on additional ticketing responsibilities within the administration department.

Outside of work I love getting away on holidays, reading and enjoying great food and drink.

I joined the team in September 2022. I love to travel and explore new places, with New York being a favourite. I have been lucky enough to visit the other side of the world spending a bit of time in New Zealand. In my spare time I love going to the gym, anything animal related and spending time with my family and friends.

I joined the admin team in late 2021, and most of my day is spent dealing with bookings and issuing tickets. I like to spend my weekends travelling around the country to play airsoft at various sites and environments. Whenever I’m not doing this, I also enjoy building and painting models.

In recent years, I have been fortunate enough to travel to several of my bucket list destinations, including Spain, Disneyland Paris and Lapland in Finland.

I joined the Administration Team at Bolsover Cruise Club in 2024. In my spare time, I like to crochet, play D&D and spend time with my partner and our 2 cats. I’ve gone on many family holidays to France and Spain, but I would love to go to America and visit Disneyland.

I have worked for Bolsover Cruise Club within the Administration Support Team since 2006, Recently I have moved to the administration department where my role is to deal with cancellations.

I am happily married and have a dog who I adore. In my spare time I enjoy playing guitar, walking my pooch and holidays of all kinds, especially cruising.

My passion for travel started back in the early 90s as an overseas representative on the island of Majorca, where I enjoyed several summers of hard work and fun. When I came home, I started working for a leading travel agency and progressed to a role in customer services at head office. It was around this time I experienced my first cruise on board Airtours’ Sunbird and I quickly realised that the cruise industry was the direction I wanted to follow.

In 2002, I started working for Bolsover Cruise Club when we were still fairly small, just 15 Cruise Experts! I’ll never forget the time Mr Wilson closed the office to take us all on board  Queen Mary 2 for her launch. I’d honestly never seen anything like her and she remains one of my favourites to this day.

I commute a long way each day to the office and I’m often asked why I do this journey. The answer to that is easy; I love my job and couldn’t work with a better team. I’ve been proud to watch Bolsover Cruise Club go from strength to strength each year, yet still maintain the family feel and high service levels that have won us numerous awards.

I have worked at Bolsover cruise club since 2019. I enjoy meeting new people and being as helpful as I can be so working on reception is my perfect job, and working with such lovely colleagues
makes coming to work very pleasant . Outside work my husband and I are proud parents and grandparents and we enjoy socialising with friends and family along with walks in the countryside with our collie Pepsi.

I joined the Administration Team in 2021 and spend the day carrying out admin duties and dealing with invoices. I have been working in customer service since 2014 and have a degree in Tourism. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and walking my two dogs.

I have been a Senior Administrator at Bolsover Cruise Club since November 2000.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. My husband and I are adjusting to ‘empty nest syndrome’ as our daughter is now at Winchester University.

I joined the Administration Team at Bolsover Cruise Club in 2024. I love to travel when I can, and I am slowly ticking off destinations from my bucket list. Though one place I could happily re-visit over and over is Orlando Florida!

Outside of work, I enjoy horse riding, eating out with friends, walking in the countryside, and going to the theatre.

Hello my name is Sara and I work as a Cancellations Administrator. Originally, my background is in the military where I served at sea with the Royal Navy before relocating to Derbyshire and moving into administration in the legal sector. I have always loved the sea and I took my first cruise in 2018. I was completely bitten by the bug and it catalysed another career change into the travel industry with Bolsover Cruise Club. I am now part of a small team dealing with the day-to-day administration of cruise cancellations which can happen for various reasons – some happy and some sad – and delving into the small print of cruise operators’ terms and conditions.

In my spare time,I like walking and running in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside and planning my next great cruise adventure!

I have worked in various roles within the company since I first joined in 2004 but my latest shift into our lovely Finance team has been a good move. I enjoy the investigative nature of the work.

Outside of work, there is nothing I enjoy more than spending time with good friends, experiencing new things and exploring the local area with the best Border Terrier in the world!

I Joined Bolsover Cruise Club in February 2024 previously I worked as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for 13 years. I have 2 grown up children so looking forward to holidays not in the school holidays. In my spare time I like cruising and eating out.

As a relative newcomer to Bolsover Cruise Club, I’m really enjoying learning all about the different cruise lines and exciting destinations on offer.  Working within the Reception Team and chatting to customers as they leave the Bureau with big smiles, excited for their next holiday, definitely makes my day! I love to travel and explore new countries and have done a couple of solo holidays which took a bit of courage initially but were worth every sleepless night!  Out of work, my favourite pastime is walking in the Peak District with my Border Collie, Walter and then refuelling afterward with a good meal and a glass of red wine or two.

I work closely with our Cruise & Stay team who put together our incredible packages, then it is my job to bring them to life on the website and by email. I’m also a cruise geek, and always have some kind of cruise holiday booked and have been lucky enough to sail on a wide range of ships. Out of work, I have a gorgeous golden retriever who keeps me busy. I love to travel and have visited some unbelievable places in the world. Australia is up there with one of my favourites and Asia has a special place in my heart! New Zealand and the Maldives are on my bucket list.

Working alongside our Assistant Marketing Manager, my role is to help prepare the deals and offers for mailers and weekly postcards. When I am not in the office I enjoy travelling, crafts and reading a good book. My bucket-list destination would be to visit Hawaii.

My growing passion for design and marketing has spanned from years of experience in the industry. I joined Bolsover Cruise Club’s Marketing Team to manage and produce the Into The Blue magazine, and my mission is to keep improving this magazine for members to enjoy.
I’m also responsible for producing and editing promotional videos, which you see on social media, using a variety of filming and audio equipment to get the right footage.
At home I like to spend time with my family, enjoying the outdoors and going to the gym. I’m also a keen photographer and enjoy turning my hand to a DIY project.

I manage a fantastic team who create the email and mailed activity for some of our best-known cruise operators, bringing the best deals and destinations to our customers. Outside of the office I’m often reading, running, or attempting to bake (with varying degrees of success). Some of my favourite places to have visited are Italy, Australia, Laos, and Croatia. Next, I’d love to go to the Philippines for some incredible scuba diving.

As a Marketing Executive in the Cruise & Stay department, I focus on developing and rolling out digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, all designed to spotlight the unparalleled experiences our packages deliver. When I’m not shaping the next campaign, you’ll find me chasing my passion for photography, venturing off the beaten path to discover hidden travel gems, and tackling new trails in the Peak District with my camera in tow.

I’m Bolsover Cruise Club’s Editor and Marketing Copywriter, which means I’m responsible for planning and creating content for Into the Blue, as well as our blogs and other marketing collateral. I started cruising when I was 13 years’ old and have been hooked ever since. I’ve been lucky enough to have explored some of the world’s most amazing places, from Machu Picchu, Table Mountain and the Alaskan glaciers, to the Burj Khalifa, Sydney Opera House and the Taj Mahal … but I’m always planning my next adventure!

I joined Bolsover Cruise Club in 2018 to help analyse the performance of the marketing we do and feed these insights back to the business. I have worked in digital marketing for many years specialising in analysis and optimisation across a number of industry sectors, and I can confidently say that none of these industries is as exciting to work in as is the cruise industry.
I am discovering a fantastic diversity of customers with loyalty to their cruise brands and holiday destinations as well as the motivations our customers have to book their next fantastic cruise holiday with Bolsover Cruise Club. Outside of work I enjoy hill walking & running as well as cruising of course. My favourite cruise destination so far are the Norwegian Fjords with their magnificent landscapes and clean air.

I work as part of our Marketing team and my main duties include arranging email marketing for our core brands. I love spending time with my friends and family, along with getting stuck in at my little allotment and of course planning future holidays. I also enjoy the occasional gin and getting stuck into a good book. Some of my favourite destinations would have to be Puerto Vallarta in Mexico, Ölüdeniz in Turkey, Kotor in Montenegro and Tuscany in Italy, a mixed bag but I love the relaxed atmosphere and culture that these places offer. Next on my list for travel would be The Caribbean, Dubai and Croatia.

As Marketing Executive here at Bolsover Cruise Club, my main duty is sending email campaigns for our core brands, to highlight what is on offer to our customers! When I’m not at work, I enjoy walking, reading, and spending time with my family, friends and dog. Being half German, I have spent lots of time exploring the Black Forest region on family visits, but I look forward to becoming more well-travelled and experiencing my first cruise adventure!

My role is to oversee our luxury cruise offering. I work closely with many luxury and river cruise lines to ensure we have the very latest offers and destination inspiration to share with you. Having worked in the travel industry for 20+ years, it’s my passion to travel, both abroad and in UK. I’m fortunate to have experienced 18 different cruise ships and can’t wait to explore even more. Outside of work I’m happiest taking country walks with my husband, three children and our labrador puppy.

I’m the Social Media Executive within the marketing team. I manage all our social media channels, create and design content and run all our paid ads, working with all of our cruise lines to produce and publish the latest content. I’ve worked in social media for many years, and I’ve been loving being part of the cruising industry.

I love to get out of my comfort zone and check out the latest activities cruises have onboard from flying down the longest dry slide, soaring over the ship on a rollercoaster and racing down zip wires across the entire ship. The world of cruising really does offer it ALL!

I’ve been working in creative roles within the marketing industry for nearly two decades in digital and UX designer roles and as a Front-end Developer. I joined Bolsover Cruise Club in September 2022 to bring all of my skills and knowledge as their Website Manager. Although I’m new to the travel industry, I’m excited to be able to help take Bolsover Cruise Club’s online presence forward and make our website something to really be proud of. Outside of work, I used to be a rock DJ but these days I’m more interesting in baking, video games, running and kickboxing. My travel experiences aren’t as extensive as I’d like – though I once drove through Death Valley, camped in the montains of Albuquerque and flew over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter. But I’ve never been on a cruise before, though I’m sure that will change eventually!

As Marketing Executive, my role involves searching our cruises to find the best deals and working on our mailed postcards and flyers, so we can help our customers to find their dream cruise.

Outside of work I love to travel and explore new places (both in the UK and overseas) alongside my family, I’m always planning my next trip!  Some of my favourite places I’ve travelled to so far include Italy, Canada and India. Next on my list, I’d like to visit Iceland to explore the breathtaking natural landscape and rich history to be found there (and hopefully catch a peek of the Northern Lights too!), but I also dream of one day visiting Costa Rica and the Galapagos to encounter their extraordinary native wildlife.

After leaving college in 2004 with a HND in Graphic Design and working in corporate design industries, I joined Bolsover Cruise Club’s marketing team in early 2016. As one of the team’s in-house graphic designers, my role is to design printed literature, promotional emails and website offer banners, from content and offers provided by other team members. I enjoy travelling and visiting new places and spent many holidays taking in the sights of the West Coast of North America. But my favourite destination is the island of Maui (Hawaii). Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, watching films and trying new food and drink.

I have worked in travel for many years. After working as a shop manager for two years I was successful in being offered a position at Bolsover Cruise Club in 2004. I have a real passion for travel and have enjoyed cruising to many places from the Caribbean to the beautiful Italian cities of Florence and Rome. Outside of work, I love to go walking in Derbyshire with my husband and our boys.

I’m a Marketing Executive, which means I capture all the best offers for our printed mailers and email marketing. Prior to this, I worked as a Cruise Expert within the sales team for over 13 years and have built an extensive product knowledge of all things cruising. In my spare time – and when I’m not transporting my daughter to and from her various sporting activities – we enjoy family time walking our sausage dog Otis.

I left college in 1990 with qualification in Travel and Tourism and quickly joined a high street store selling an array of holidays. I had the pleasure of managing my own store before becoming a mother to two girls and making the decision to move abroad, so I went to work as a representative for a hotel and villa company looking after British holidaymakers. In July 2010, I came back to the UK and joined Bolsover Cruise Club as a Cruise Expert . Recently, I was asked to move departments to mentor some of our newer employees to pass on my knowledge and my desire to help answer any questions that may occur on our existing guests’ bookings. Over the years I have found my love for cruising trying new cruise lines and experiencing new ports.

As a team leader for the Sales Support team, I am delighted to be sharing this role with my good friend and colleague Sharon Tucker. My role is to maintain quality control, support the team in resolving large programme changes with the cruise operators and monitor administration on bookings.

I have worked in travel for nearly 35 years and am very lucky to have sailed on many fantastic cruises and seen some wonderful countries. Before cruising, I travelled extensively and one of my highlights was joining a safari in Zimbabwe and Botswana. Outside of work, I am a passionate animal lover and love being outdoors so I’m especially lucky to live in Derbyshire and have the Peak District on my doorstep.

I’m an avid reader, enjoy keeping fit, eating out and watching live music.

I have worked in travel since 2003 and joined Bolsover Cruise Club in 2012. I have a passion for travel and love helping people plan their holidays. I love taking the time to research destinations and match the best ship to my customers’ requirements. I have been lucky enough to travel extensively and my favourite destination is Singapore – I loved the mix of old and new and would definitely recommend it as a bucket list place to visit.

I have cruised with lots of different operators over the years and my favourite cruise line is Princess Cruises. I love the glitz and glam on board and feel that they have a great variation of itineraries.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and walking my dog.

I have been at Bolsover Cruise Club for several years, progressing from sales into the training and recruitment side of the business. I love being a part of the training and development of staff, encouraging staff to learn and watching them grow and develop as an experienced cruise specialist. I enjoy cruising with my family; my favourite destination to sail is the Adriatic. I also love travelling to North America, which I try to do with my husband and two children every summer.

I originally came to Bolsover Cruise Club as part of my work placement in 2011. My experience at Bolsover Cruise Club stayed with me and this is the reason why I re-joined the company in 2018.

My love for travel came from my parents who were always looking for our next adventure (always booking with Bolsover Cruise Club, of course). Having travelled to many parts of the world from a young age, I gained an appreciation for the travel industry and this influenced my career choices moving forward. It has also helped with my role because I have insight into the places our customers are traveling to and I can advise on the best things to do in their chosen destinations.

My favourite adventure was a road trip around California, seeing iconic places such as Yosemite, Monterey Bay and Lake Tahoe.

I joined Bolsover Cruise Club working in the Sales Reservations Department in which has been a great adventure, before moving on to become Cruise & Stay Team Leader. My love for cruising started when I was 21 and I have never looked back; my partner and my three children also enjoy cruising and exploring the world. I recently made the move from the Reservations team to join the Sales Support Team; I enjoy the customer services aspect and this team will give us more time to dedicate to our customers.

In my spare time you will find me walking my doggy Barney and taking him for a bite to eat with a glass of wine.

I have worked in travel since 1997 and developed a huge passion for cruising, I joined Bolsover cruise club in 2005 but have taken a few breaks to have a family. I am a mum of 2 children and as a family we love taking our holidays on cruises. I have been lucky enough to experience many different cruise lines including P&O, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, MSC, Disney Cruise lines, Fred Olsen, Cunard, Norwegian Cruise lines & Regent Seven Seas. Out of all the destinations I have been lucky to visit my favourite is the Caribbean.

In my spare time I like walking, reading, going to the Gym, and spending time with my family and friends.

I am a Sales Team Leader at Bolsover Cruise Club and have been with the company since 2006. My main role is to guide a team of Cruise Experts to ensure they can become the best possible. To help with this I quality control, conduct in-house sales training and have regular one-to-one’s with my team. I really enjoy interacting with my team and supporting them in their role. Outside of work, I love spending time with friends and family and other interests include travelling and shopping.

I joined the Bolsover Cruise Club administration team in 2017. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and going out on countryside walks with our two dogs. I have been fortunate enough to travel to some fabulous places, including the Norwegian Fjords and Central America.

Having worked in sales previously at Bolsover Cruise Club, I am now responsible for a team of Cruise Experts. I have been with the company since May 2014 and, in those years, I have been fortunate to try many different cruise lines and visit many destinations. I believe cruising has no limitations and there really is a perfect holiday available for anyone. A highlight of my career was winning a nationwide competition to become an Iona insider for P&O Cruises – that experience enabled me to visit some of Iona’s key ports in her itinerary including Olden and Gran Canaria, where I also did some fantastic shore excursions (imagine me in a wet suit!) which gave me an insight into what’s on offer in port.

My varied background in customer service has given me irreplaceable relationships with customers here at Bolsover Cruise Club and I aim to pass those relationships onto our ever-growing sales team.

I’m a Sales Team Leader with an abundance of passion for all things cruising. With many years’ experience in the travel industry, I bring my knowledge of what makes holidays exciting and eye-catching, from the latest offers and deals, new itineraries, ships and entertainment to keeping the website as up to date as humanly possible. When I’m not getting excited about holidays, you’ll find me on the trails of the Peaks enjoying my other passion of running – oh and not forgetting my family life too, of course.

I am a Sales Team Leader looking after a fantastic team of Cruise Experts. I have worked in the travel industry since finishing college in 1998. I have a love for cruising and I joined Bolsover Cruise Club in December 2007. I enjoy travelling with my family and I have been lucky enough to travel to some fantastic places. I love sharing my knowledge and helping my team and clients to find the perfect holidays.

My name is Sharon, and I am a Sales Support Team Leader. I have been at Bolsover Cruise Club since the year 2000 and in this time I have developed a wide knowledge of cruising and travelled with many different operators.

In my spare time, I enjoy socialising, have a passion for horse racing and always enjoy a glass of most things.

I am the Sales Admin Manager looking after Analytics, Call Data Reporting, HR Documentation, Performance Management Tracking, Call Listening Policy Enforcement, Staff Scheduling and System Development.  Out of work I love Leicester Tigers, Manchester United and the McLaren Formula One team. I also enjoy an occasional glass of red!

I joined Bolsover Cruise Club in 2004 as PA to the Managing Director.  In 2023 I was promoted to the role of Office Manager.  As well as supporting Mr Wilson and the wider management team, I am also responsible for accounts, HR, FM, and any other jobs that no-one else wants to do!

I have been lucky enough to enjoy many cruises over the years; I love the Caribbean but recently visited Kotor in Montenegro which is my new favourite destination!

Outside of work I enjoy walking the dog, watching my son play rugby and socialising with friends and family.

Working alongside our expert sales and admin teams, my role is to head up the marketing team and ensure that we continue to provide our customers with the very best destination inspiration, along with the unbeatable cruise deals to take them there. Considering my own travels, my favourite place in the world (so far) has to be Mauritius where my wife and I were lucky enough to honeymoon… turquoise blue waters, white sandy beaches lined with palm trees, fascinating culture and mouth-watering food – I can’t wait to go back someday. Away from work, I’m tasked with entertaining 3 energetic boys, so it’s always action-packed, mixing various sporty and social commitments with seeking out our next family adventure.

As a Finance Executive at Bolsover Cruise Club, my role is all about the numbers. Growing up with a keen interest in mathematics and having always dreamt of travelling the world, has made this the perfect role. I am currently qualified with the Association of Accounting Technicians and I am working towards getting my Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification to further my knowledge and experience. Since working at Bolsover Cruise Club, my love for travel and especially cruises has only grown. I was lucky enough to go on my first cruise with my family in 2022 to Norway, onboard the beautiful Iona. Outside of work I enjoy yoga, playing video games, spending time with my loved ones and creating an extensive excel sheet to plan and save up for my next holiday.

I joined the family business at 19 working with just my parents and brother in our busy Travel Agency in Bolsover. I have been fortunate enough to watch us grow to the impressive Cruise Club facility we now operate from. My involvement has enabled me to cover all aspects of the day to day running of the agency which has led to my position as Director.
Outside of work I enjoy taking a well-earned holiday with my husband and two daughters, walking our dog and looking after our pony.

My career in the travel industry began at 18, when I started on a Commercial School Leaver’s scheme. I was lucky enough to be placed in the cruise department, and since then, the cruise industry has had a strong hold over me!
Essentially and in a huge nutshell, my role is to work closely with all of our cruise line partners, so that we can present the best products and deals possible to our customers.
Just like everyone here at Bolsover Cruise Club, I love to travel. But, choosing a favourite destination is especially hard, as my favourite regions vastly contrast – Southeast Asia and the Nordics.
Outside of work, I am currently getting stuck into a house renovation project, and any other spare time is spent with family or on some aerial silks.

Bolsover Cruise Club is my family business and I am proud to be driving it forward into a new era, with my focus on the development and growth of our Cruise and Stay department established in 2019. My team of 12 create bespoke package holidays to destinations all around the world, and bring an accumulative wealth of travel, destination, and cruise knowledge. I have personally sailed with 18 different cruise lines a proud accomplishment for me, as I love being able to provide a first-hand perspective of what each brand represents. Across these 18 brands I have sailed onboard 34 different ships, and it is genuinely a love of mine, experiencing the different cruise products we offer and the destinations they visit across the globe. From Antarctica to Saudi Arabia, cruising has taken me to corners of the world I never dreamed were possible.

After 15 years with Bolsover Cruise Club as a Cruise Expert, I was excited to be offered the opportunity to move to the Customer Services Department. I live in Nottinghamshire with my husband and our two girls, and I have been lucky enough to travel to some wonderful countries and cities including Quebec, Langkawi, Krabi and my favourite, Hong Kong.

I am the Managing Director, having built Bolsover Cruise Club from a simple rural travel agency in Bolsover, which was then a small coal mining town in Derbyshire. Now I lead a team of well of over 140 members of staff and firmly believe we operate the most efficient cruise operation by far in the UK.
When I am not at work, my main passion is shooting and I love a building project, so I am always up to something that involves bricks and mortar. I also love my greenhouse and kitchen garden, where I spend many hours when the sun shines.

Prior to my current role in Bolsover, I worked as a joiner for four-and-a-half years. However, when I received the opportunity to start working for the family business putting together F1 packages with cruises, I couldn’t say no. You see, I am probably the biggest F1 fan out there, and being able to combine my passion with my work was an opportunity I couldn’t resist.

Cruises have always been a significant part of my life, even from a young age. I’ve been on countless cruises during my childhood, although I can’t remember all of them due to my young age at the time. Nevertheless, whenever I step foot on a cruise ship, it feels like my second home – it’s one of my favourite types of holiday, creating memories and experiencing new adventures.

If I had the chance, my dream holiday would be a road trip to the Italian Alps and around the world. There’s just something about driving from the comfort of your own home and ending up in the stunning landscapes of the Italian Alps or the south of France that appeals to me. The journey itself becomes part of the adventure, leading to breathtaking destinations.

With a career spanning over two decades in the travel industry, I’ve turned my passion for exploring the world into a lifelong vocation. My journey began with renowned names like Lunn Poly and Thomas Cook, where I built a solid foundation in travel expertise. For the past 20+ years, I’ve been proud to call Bolsover Cruise Club my professional home.
Starting with the Sales Team, I’ve embraced a variety of roles, including Sales Supervisor and Training Manager, each providing opportunities to grow and share my knowledge. Today, as Sales Support Manager, I bring together experience, leadership, and a deep commitment to helping clients and colleagues embark on their own unforgettable journeys.

My love for cruising started back when I was seven years old. Ever since taking that first cruise with my parents, I wanted to go on more and more and experience different ships and destinations. In 2011, I graduated from Birmingham City University with a BA Hons in Primary Education and taught a range of ages for four years.

In 2015, I decided I needed to travel and what better way than working on board a beautiful cruise ship. In July 2015, I started working as Youth Staff on board the Carnival Dream. After starting out a six-month contract, I ended up staying for three-and-a-half years cruising the Caribbean with a promotion to Youth Director and also meeting my Canadian husband on board.

We both moved back to the UK in 2018, where we now live happily with our four-year old Maltipoo, Teddy. After delving back into my teaching routes for a further four years, I missed the travel industry too much and wanted to get back into cruising whilst living on dry land. I started working in the Cruise & Stay department at Bolsover Cruise Club in March 2022 and have never looked back! I am always looking for my next cruise adventure, this time as a passenger though so I can enjoy all the benefits (and cocktails) they have to offer!

Having been with Bolsover Cruise Club for 21 years and have worked in many of the departments before becoming the Head of Sales of which I am very proud of both myself and my great team.

Outside of working hard I enjoy winter sports, van life and of course holidays abroad whether it be land based or cruising.

I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled extensively with my husband of twenty years and always happy to get home to my little dog Jess.

I run the Administration Team, which includes all the less exciting side of travel such as invoicing, ticketing, visas and vaccinations and all things paper (or email I should say these days) as approximately 70% of our paperwork goes via email.

In my spare time, I like to tread the boards and perform musicals with a local amateur operatic society.
