Known for its calm, clear waters, Bayahibe is an ideal beach for families and snorkelling enthusiasts, while Sosúa, situated on the country's north coast, offers a beautiful beach with golden sands and crystalline waters ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

Santo Domingo's Culture

Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic's capital, is steeped in history. The Zona Colonial, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is packed with well-preserved 16th-century buildings. Here, you can visit the Catedral Primada de America, the oldest cathedral in the Americas, stroll along the cobblestone streets, or enjoy the vibrant atmosphere at the Parque Colon.

Samaná's Natural Splendour

Samaná is a peninsula located on the north-eastern coast of the Dominican Republic. It is a haven for those seeking an off-the-beaten-path experience, and one of the most famous attractions is the breathtaking El Salto del Limón waterfall. Meanwhile, Los Haitises National Park is a protected, sprawling reserve renowned for its karst limestone formations, mangroves, and lush rainforests. The park is home to frigatebirds, pelicans, and manatees, making it a popular destination for bird watchers and ecotourists.
