Inside Stateroom

Inside staterooms offer great value for money and are the lowest priced cabins on board. Because of this, they are always very popular. An inside stateroom is ideal for people who spend very little time in their cabin, usually just using it for washing, changing and sleeping. While usually the same size and layout as an outside cabin, an inside stateroom will usually feature a large mirror instead of a window.

Royal Caribbean offers various versions of the interior stateroom on board their ships. Promenade Staterooms on board Freedom Class and Oasis Class ships are inside cabins but feature windows overlooking the Royal Promenade area below. Blinds and curtains are available for privacy and guests have the option of streaming sound from the Royal Promenade into their stateroom; a popular option when shows or parades are taking place. Royal Caribbean’s Quantum Class ships feature revolutionary inside staterooms with the innovative Virtual Balcony design; a floor-to-ceiling video wall streaming live footage from outside to create the illusion of a balcony view. This brand new concept has been popular with those who would like a balcony but perhaps cannot afford the additional cost.

Large inside staterooms are available for families and larger groups, though they are few and far between and must be booked early.
