Even luxury cruise lines, which don’t often see children aboard, may also offer fully-supervised kids clubs on selected sailings.

Kids clubs aboard family cruise ships are segregated into age-appropriate groups, with activities tailored to the needs of each specific age range. Most cruise lines welcome children between the ages of 2-17 into their various kids clubs, though this may vary depending on which operator you are travelling with.

With the kids kept well entertained, it’s time for the grown ups to chill out by the pool, catch a quiet bite to eat or head to the casino. There’s no need to worry about the little ones; you’ll be the last thing on their mind as they run wild in soft play areas and supervised splash pools, whilst older kids won’t give the grown-ups a second thought in between making new mates in cool hangouts complete with DJ decks and kicking back in their own dedicated teen pool areas.
