Alan Cumming to Headline Cunard Transatlantic Crossing

Celebrated actor Alan Cumming will be appearing on Queen Mary 2’s Transatlantic sailing on 8 December 2023, departing from New York to Southampton.

During the seven-night crossing, he will engage in a Q&A session with guests, host two screenings, and hold a book signing of his memoir, Baggage. He will also be screening the 2022 documentary, My Old School, about the scandal of Brian MacKinnon, a 30-year-old who enrolled in school as a 16-year-old.

Matt Gleaves, Vice-President of Commercial at Cunard North America, noted: “We are thrilled to welcome back Alan Cumming on Queen Mary 2’s 8 December Transatlantic Crossing.

“Alan’s immense talent and captivating presence will be a highlight for guests, giving them the opportunity to learn about his career, creative process, and personal journey, and creating an unforgettable experience during their Crossing.”

Alan Cumming will appear through Cunard’s Insights programme, which is designed to showcase fascinating experts from various industries on every voyage. This provides guests with an elevated and inspiring experience while sailing with Cunard.
