The P&O Cruises Azura refit is just around the corner, with the family-friendly ship due to receive some exciting renovations at the end of March 2025. The cruise line has revealed that guests can expect modern, luxurious furniture and finishings and elegant styling throughout, and we can’t wait to see how she looks!

For now, here’s everything we know about the upcoming Azura refit.

Bars and Restaurants

Many of Azura’s onboard bars and restaurants are in line for a revamp this March. These are just some of the highlights of the Azura refit we can’t wait to see.

The Glass House: Drawing inspiration from glass itself, the refreshed appearance of Olly Smith’s renowned wine bar will feature sharp lines, geometric forms, and vibrant colour schemes.

Sindhu: This fleet favourite restaurant will sport a new look that mirrors its menu. Expect to see metallic touches mixed with traditional textiles and contemporary styling to create opulent surroundings.

Java: The coffee spot will be revitalised with natural textures and rustic, earthy hues inspired by the coffee-making process itself.

Oriental Restaurant: Azura’s main dining room is set to receive new carpets and furniture, alongside a refreshed colour scheme of pinks and greens, with an emphasis on floral designs alongside.

Breakers Bar: Drawing inspiration from the seaside, Breakers’ new informal look adopts tropical ocean blues, warm corals, and sandy shades for tiles, flooring, and accents.

Azura Refit: Cabins & Suites

Many of the cabins on board Azura will be refreshed in the March 2025 refit, bringing new furnishings and more. New carpeting will also be installed in the corridors of guest cabins.

Cabins: Your cabin will become even more inviting with new carpets, curtains, and reupholstered desk chairs, sofa beds, and headboards. Revitalised blues harmonise with wood tones and a neutral colour scheme to create an atmosphere, perfect for relaxing at the end of a busy day. The addition of soft, tactile finishes enhances the sense of relaxation.

Suites: For those staying in suites, tranquil lavender and neutral tones will supplement the colour scheme. Together with wooden tones and gentle textures, this creates a harmonious palette across carpets, headboards, curtains, chairs, and cushions. New ceiling lamps, bedside lamps, reading lamps, and USB charging options will also be introduced.

The Best of the Rest

And that’s not all! The Azura refit will encompass many other parts of the P&O Cruises ship, including:

  • A redesigned layout for the Loyalty and Cruise Sales desk, including an extra desk, a brochure rack, and digital displays.
  • A new area for Elemis skincare products within the shops.
  • New furniture for the open deck.
  • Replacement of six whirlpools

We’ll share more information on the March 2025 Azura refit when we have it! Why not see the changes for yourself by booking a cruise on Azura? View the sailings here >> VIEW CRUISES
