Bolsover Cruise Club Awarded TTG Top 50 Travel Agent Title

We could all use some good news, so what better time to share that Bolsover Cruise Club has been recognised as one of the UK and Ireland’s top travel agents in the TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies 2020 awards.

The TTG Top 50 power list is created by industry bible Travel Trade Gazette to recognise the best travel agencies in the UK and Ireland. More than 500 travel agencies and branches put themselves forward for consideration, from which a shortlist of 100 finalists was devised. Each finalist was interviewed by a TTG journalist to assess their customer service, expertise and business performance, as well as efforts to give back to the local community with charitable endeavours.

TTG group editor Pippa Jacks said: “Now in its fifth year, our TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies initiative sees us scour the UK and Ireland to find the hardest-working, most committed and most successful travel agency businesses in the land. “The travel industry is currently facing a monumental challenge, but the coronavirus crisis has created an opportunity for the nation’s best travel agencies – those that offer their customers extraordinary service and expertise, and do most to support their local communities – to shine.

“Each agency that earned a place in our Top 50 list this year worked hard to impress our judges and should feel incredibly proud of what they have achieved.”

Following news of the win, Bolsover Cruise Club managing director Michael Wilson said: “To be recognised in the TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies roundup is a huge achievement but it feels all the more significant given the current situation. The coronavirus pandemic has had an enormous effect on travel and has only served to reinforce how valuable travel agents are in negotiating such unprecedented events. We’re thrilled to be recognised as one of the best in the UK and Ireland now more than ever.”
