Celebrity Cruises will be reinstating its South America itineraries in 2023, as Celebrity Eclipse prepares for a four-month stint south of the Equator.
A total of 16 destinations are planned from December 2023 to April 2024, taking in the likes of Buenos Aires, Valparaiso and Montevideo. The unique experiences on offer include whale watching on Argentina’s Playa El Doradillo and scaling Osorno Volcano in Chile.
Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President and CEO of Celebrity Cruises, commented: “The power of travel expands our horizons, introduces us to other cultures, and opens us up to truly fulfilling experiences. Celebrity takes its guests to far reaching corners of the globe, while enjoying unrivalled luxury travel adventures.”
A number of itineraries will be available when Celebrity Eclipse heads to South America. One of the highlights will be Machu Picchu, which guests can explore during a 16-night repositioning cruise from Los Angeles to Chile. Two nights in Lima, Peru are included in this sailing, giving plenty of time to explore this incredible destination.
Celebrity Cruises has introduced an ‘Always Included’ element to all its sailings, meaning guests can now enjoy Wi-Fi, drinks and service charges as part of their cruise fare.
