Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has unveiled its 2025/26 cruise programme, which is due to host a variety of specially-timed sailings. Guests will be able to embrace local ways of life, seek out native wildlife and see spectacular natural wonders first hand, aboard Fred. Olsen’s fleet of small ships.
Guests will be able to cruise from various regional departure ports such as Southampton, Portsmouth, Dover, Liverpool, Newcastle and Rosyth, with each itinerary selected to make the most of destinations at certain times of year. Highlights include the chance to see the Rio Carnival, and the biggest sea shanty festival in Europe, due to take place in Falmouth.
Fred. Olsen will also host several specially curated onboard activities. These include the chance to join an astronomer for stargazing on deck, marine wildlife spotting with conservation charity ORCA, and sampling authentic cuisine in its place of origin.
Martin Lister, Head of Itinerary Planning and Destination Experiences at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, explained how the fleet would be visiting all seven continents during the 2025/26 season.
“Guests who join us on board in 2025 and 2026 can expect to see some breathtaking scenery including eye-catching fjord mountains, dramatic coastlines, icebergs, remote islands and beautiful bays,” he continued.
“They can visit captivating cities, fairytale castles and charming old towns packed with ornate and striking architecture and experience natural phenomena such as the Northern Lights, the Midnight Sun, stunning sunsets and flowers in bloom at the very best time to see them.
“Some of the highlights include chances to visit the beautiful Norwegian Fjords in the spring, when the waterfalls are at their strongest; to see fields of lavender and sunflowers in bloom in the French Riviera and enjoy a world cruise discovering idyllic islands and cities rich in culture.”
