A new gin tasting experience will be based on Princess Cruises UK-based ship Sapphire Princess.
As part of the experience, Princess Cruises guests will have the opportunity to taste a range of gins, including popular brands as well as lesser-known varieties. The experience will give guests the chance to learn about the history of gin, including the reasons for its recent booming popularity.
Guests will also be given the opportunity to taste and make the vessel’s own ‘Sapphire Princess’ cocktail, which is now available on the ship.
The tastings are available for $25 per person.
The Sapphire Princess cocktail is created in partnership with the Bombay Sapphire Distillery and exclusively served on Sapphire Princess. It has a generous measure of Bombay Sapphire gin and the cocktail’s mixers include Blue Curacao to evoke the sea, and a splash of Prosecco to signify the fizz and bubbles created by waves in the water.
