Holland America Line Launches Biggest-Ever Asia Season

Holland America Line will embark on its biggest-ever Asia season in 2024-25, offering more diverse and longer itineraries across the region. Departures are available from Hong Kong, Yokohama (Tokyo), and Singapore to some of the most exciting cities across 10 countries.

There will be a strong focus on Japanese departures, with itineraries including a 14-day Circle Japan roundtrip from Yokohama. Three itineraries are available, which include stops in Kochi, Hiroshima, Hakodate and Nagasaki, as well as South Korea.

Beth Bodensteiner, Holland America Line’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “The demand for Asia remains strong as cruisers seek experiences to exotic and off-the-beaten-path locales that give them unique travel moments

“By offering three departure cities we’re able to diversify our itineraries and showcase an incredibly robust season. With 24 ports in Japan alone and two dozen more spread among several countries, our guests are in for an immersive Asia adventure.”

Guests will benefit from extended stays in many of the ports, as well as overnight calls. The 14-day Far East Discovery Holiday includes overnight calls to Bangkok and Da Nang.

Two ships will embark on longer Legendary Voyages. These include the new 52 or 53-day Majestic Japan on board Westerdam, departing 1 or 2 September 2024. This features a total of 21 ports, including 13 calls throughout Japan and overnights at Yokohama (Tokyo) and Kobe, Japan, and Honolulu, Hawaii.

The new 28-day Coral Triangle, Volcanoes and The Great Barrier Reef departing 5 January 2025, a roundtrip journey from Singapore aboard Noordam. It is set to explore 10 ports in five countries, including Indonesia and the Philippines, with scenic cruising in the Great Barrier Reef, Torres Strait, and past the Kumba and Krakatau volcanoes.
