Holland America Line is offering an additional incentive to past guests through its new Refer a Friend programme. Members of the cruise line’s Mariner Society will receive $50 future cruise credit for each referral they make, while the guests they introduce will be given $50 onboard credit per person.
They can use the onboard credit for a variety of amenities, including shore excursions, purchases made in the gift shop, spa services and speciality dining.
In order to be eligible for the scheme, past guests must have a Mariner ID. Everyone who has previously sailed with Holland America Line will have automatically been enrolled in the programme.
Beth Bodensteiner, Chief Operating Officer for Holland America Line, said: “Holland America Line has one of the highest repeat guest rates in the industry, but there is still an untapped segment of the market who have never cruised
“The best brand ambassadors are our Mariners who know our brand and know who would love to take a Holland America Line cruise for the first time. Our Refer a Friend programme allows us to reach new cruisers while rewarding our loyal guests at the same time.”
