Majestic Princess Showcases New Venues and Revamped Spaces

Majestic Princess has emerged with new venues and reimagined spaces following a two-week drydock in Palermo, Italy. In preparation for her 2025 Mediterranean season, the Princess Cruises ship has welcomed an array of upgraded culinary experiences and social areas. New additions include the popular O’Malley’s Irish Pub, Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria, Alfredo’s Slice, Salty Dog Café, Ocean Terrace Sushi Bar, Bellini’s, rebranded shopping outlets, and more.

O’Malley’s Irish Pub introduces a classic Irish pub atmosphere, serving up hearty fare such as burgers and fish and chips, accompanied by an extensive selection of drinks, including beer and whiskey flights, enhancing the ambiance with live music. It takes the place of the former Vines Wine Bar. Meanwhile, Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria offers guests a taste of Tuscany with family recipes featuring handmade pastas, robust sauces, and richly braised meats, emerging from what was once the Harmony Restaurant.

Good Spirits At Sea, inspired by the TV series, offers a unique bar experience where expert mixologists perform live demonstrations, engaging guests with the stories behind each hand-crafted cocktail, thereby replacing the Piazza Bar. The Shops of Princess have introduced EFFY, showcasing the craftsmanship and high-quality gemstones of the New York City-based jewelry brand, taking over the space from Calypso Cove. Additionally, a Victorian-style Confectionary now stands, offering a wide assortment of sweets in ornate jars, inviting guests to indulge in their favorite treats, a transformation of the previous Calypso Cove space.

On Deck 6, Bellini’s Cocktail Bar, serving a variety of bellini cocktails and hand-crafted drinks alongside a curated wine selection, brings Italian flair and a celebration of life, occupying the spaces previously held by Good Spirits At Sea and the Princess Photo Gallery. The Captains Arcade now provides a space for classic and interactive video gaming fun, taking over from Churchill’s Video Arcade. Heading up to Deck 7, the Ocean Terrace Sushi Bar offers sushi enthusiasts a spot to enjoy expertly crafted sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls with a view of the Piazza, replacing the Ocean Terrace Bar. The Shops of Princess – EFFY also expands its jewelry offering with bespoke consultations and seminars in an additional space, formerly occupied by Cartier, alongside an EFFY Lounge dedicated to luxury pieces. For guests looking to capture memories, the Princess Photo Gallery has been introduced for prints and photo downloads, using the space once designated as the Library.

Deck 16 sees the introduction of Alfredo’s Slice, where guests can enjoy poolside Neapolitan pizzas, freshly made to order, replacing the Chopsticks Noodle & Dim Sum Bar. For those in search of a quick bite, The Salty Dog Grill presents a selection of gourmet burgers, hot dogs, street tacos, and more, all served at the poolside, which had previously been occupied by the Lobster Bar & Grill.

These thoughtful renovations and additions focus on enhancing the culinary and social experiences aboard the Majestic Princess, ensuring that guests have unforgettable experiences during their Mediterranean voyages in 2025.

After a season of Mediterranean cruises this summer, Majestic Princess sails to Canada and New England in August and September, and then to the Caribbean to finish out the year.
