Marella Discovery 2 Debuts New Features

A number of key enhancements have been made throughout Marella Discovery 2, which includes brand-new features and the refurbishment of more than 300 cabins.

Marella Cruises has unveiled its newest gaming experience, the Play Wall, on board Marella Discovery 2, marking the cruise line’s first steps into immersive interactive gaming. This complimentary feature allows guests to book their session either at an onboard kiosk or through the Navigate app.

Marella Discovery 2 now offers an unparalleled gaming adventure with its full-scale interactive Play Wall, engineered by Neo Experiences. The attraction challenges guests’ agility, accuracy, and coordination through 28 diverse games suitable for all ages and abilities. Among the highlights are Totem Craft, a competitive game for family fun aiming to construct the tallest totem, and Rival Goals, a game simulating penalty shots, designed for an adult audience but ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities. These offerings guarantee memorable and exciting experiences, demonstrating the Play Wall’s sophisticated integration of technology and game design.

In addition to the Play Wall, significant refurbishments have been made throughout Marella Discovery 2. A total of 370 refreshed cabins boast contemporary décor, featuring lively artwork and superior wall fixtures, alongside newly installed furniture, bedding, completely remodeled bathrooms, flooring updates, and enhanced balcony furnishings. The renovation spans a variety of cabin categories.
