MSC Virtuosa Naming to Take Place in Dubai

MSC Virtuosa’s naming ceremony is to take place at Dubai’s Port Rashid on 27 November, a day ahead of its maiden Gulf voyage. The event will also coincide with the UAE Golden Jubilee.

Helal Saeed Almarri, director general for Dubai Tourism, was quoted as saying: ‘A partnership with a cruise line such as MSC Cruises is testament to the global appeal of Dubai’s cruise industry and its position as a multi-faceted tourism destination.’

MSC Virtuosa will make its maiden Gulf voyage on 28 November, departing on a series of seven-night cruises from Dubai. The itineraries feature port calls at Abu Dhabi and Sir Bani Yas, plus Dammam, Saudi Arabia and Doha, Qatar, and further embarkations in both Abu Dhabi and Doha.
