Find P&O Cruises latest cancellation policy here Find Cunard’s latest cancellation policy here P&O Cruises and Cunard have announced updated cancellation and transfer policies this morning, designed to give guests more flexibility in light of recent coronavirus developments. The new policy applies to all holidays departing before 1 September 2020, with an email sent this morning to advise guests set to cruise with either line that they will be able to cancel their cruise up to 48 hours before departure and receive a future cruise credit equivalent to the cancellation fee. The future cruise credit is eligible to be redeemed on any itinerary departing until 31 March 2022 and guests have until the 31 December 2021 to choose their holiday. Any remaining monies paid will be refunded. Under the new P&O Cruises and Cunard coronavirus policy, guests who choose to go ahead with their holiday will received a bonus of additional on board spending money. The bonus is applicable to all bookings made before 11 March 2020 and amounts vary depending on cruise line and length of itinerary. How much on board spending money will I get with P&O? One to three-night itineraries will receive £100 per cabin, four to seven-night sailings will get £200, eight to 14 nights receive £400 and finally those sailing on a 15-night itinerary or more will receive £600 on board spending money per cabin, should they choose to go ahead with their cruise holiday. How much on board spending money will I get on Cunard? Guests travelling with Cunard will receive $150 per cabin for one to three night sailings. Those on four to seven-night sailings will get $300, while eight to 14-night itineraries receive $600 and 15-nights or more receiving $900 to enjoy on their Cunard holiday. On board spending money can be used for drinks, spa treatments, room service and shore excursions booked on board. |
