A number of P&O Cruises Food Heroes will be featuring on select holidays over the coming months, helping guests enjoy a series of food and drink-inspired breaks.
Marco Pierre White, Olly Smith, José Pizarro and Kjartan Skjelde will be carrying out demonstrations, as well as hosting talks and dinners on a variety of sailings.
Chef Marco Pierre White will be taking part in three sailings. These are:
A 14-night cruise from Southampton on board Britannia. Departing on 29 May 2022, the ports of call will be Barcelona, Cadiz, La Coruna, Marseilles and Valencia.
He will also be appearing on a seven-night cruise on board Iona. The cruise from Southampton will depart on 16 July 2022, calling at Geiranger, Haugesund, Hellesylt, Olden and Stavanger.
Lastly, Marco Pierre White will be back on board Iona for a 14-night cruise on 26 November 2022. The sailing will visit Spain and Portugal and include ports such as Gibraltar, Lisbon and Vigo.
P&O Cruises Food Hero Marco Pierre White commented: “Whether I am designing menus for the Celebration night or doing a cookery demonstration for guests on board in my Cookery Club, I know that it has to make a holiday truly magical and memorable. Classic dishes made with seasonal and local ingredients will always create a fantastic dining experience.”
Wine expert and TV personality Olly Smith is due to sail to the Mediterranean on 26 June 2022. On board Britannia, the 14-night holiday takes in ports including Barcelona, Marseilles and Cadiz.
He will also be on Iona, leaving Southampton on 8 October 2022 for a 14-night cruise to the Canary Islands.
Olly Smith said: “It’s a joy to help guests choose the perfect drink to enjoy after a day exploring a spectacular destination or to accompany José’s glorious tapas in The Glass House. There is a wine out there for every palate and I love to give guests the opportunity to discover new grape varieties and styles for themselves.”
