The inaugural voyage of Enchanted Princess departed today (10 November) and the cruise line took the opportunity to showcase the new MedallionClass ship for the first time yesterday.
Enchanted Princess is the next step in the evolution of design for the Princess brand, joining her sister ships Royal Princess, Regal Princess, Majestic Princess and Sky Princess in offering a new elevation on style and elegance.
The new Princess Cruises ship has begun an inaugural season that consists of 10-night Caribbean itineraries, sailing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale. She will then head to Europe in April 2022 to sail a series of Scandinavia voyages roundtrip from Copenhagen.
A special naming ceremony is planned for global broadcast on 13 December 2021.
“Introducing our newest ship – Enchanted Princess – is a significant milestone for Princess and we look forward to the first guests experiencing all this gorgeous ship has to offer,” said John Padgett, Princess Cruises president. “Enchanted Princess is our seventh ship to enter service since the global pause, signifying our successful path forward, with many loyal and new guests ready to sail with us and our teammates ready to deliver meaningful and memorable holidays at an incredible value.”
Tony Roberts, Princess Cruises vice president UK & Europe, said: “With only one more day to go until Enchanted Princess’ inaugural season commences, the reopening of US borders to fully vaccinated UK travellers means that UK guests can be some of the first to experience our newest ship in the fleet, whilst also enjoying some winter sun in the Caribbean. Those who prefer to stay closer to home can also look forward to experiencing this beautiful ship, with Enchanted Princess offering Scandinavian itineraries from springtime next year.” Enchanted Princess will feature a host of notable experiences and attractions including:· Sky Suites – First introduced on Sky Princess in 2019, the luxury Sky Suites offer inclusive amenities, a dedicated Suite Experience Manager, luxurious accommodation for up to five guests and the largest balcony at sea, spanning 1,000 square-foot and featuring 270-degree views.
