Princess Cruises is introducing changes to its Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages, which will be introduced on voyages departing on 12 August 2023 and beyond. Guests can enjoy prix fixe dining options in the ship’s casual restaurants, including Alferdo’s, GiGi’s, O’Malleys, Ocean Terrace, Planks, Salty Dog Pub, Steamers, and Vines. These new three-course, pre-fixed menus offer Plus and Premier guests more choices without any additional charges. For guests on the Princess Standard package, the casual prix fixe dining is priced at $14.99, while individual selections will remain a la carte.
Princess Cruises also will also offer complimentary dining options for all guests, which include multi-course meals at all main dining rooms, buffet-style food at Horizons Court and World Fresh Market, and delightful treats at International Café, Slice, Coffee & Cones, and more. Guests can also opt for traditional stateroom breakfast available using the classic door hanger menus at no extra charge.
Princess Exclusive OceanNow Service is also available to guests with a nominal one-time activation fee of $14.99 per guest per voyage. However, guests sailing on the Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages can access this service free of charge. The revolutionary on-demand, location-based delivery service is exclusive to Princess, and guests can activate this option through the app.
Guests with Princess Plus and Princess Premier can also take advantage of the complimentary room service delivery, where the standard fee of $5 per delivery will be waived. Whether poolside or in your stateroom, this provides the option to use the on-demand service anywhere, anytime on a Princess ship.
The enhanced OceanReady process is now available that provides seamless and speedy boarding for guests who have completed all travel information and documents through the Princess app. It also allows guests to obtain the exclusive Princess Medallion, which is delivered to their home before the embarkation day. To maximise convenience, Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages include complimentary Medallion at-home delivery. Meanwhile, the standard Princess package requires a nominal shipping fee of $10 per stateroom for Medallion/accessory orders shipped to their homes.
These exciting changes to Princess Plus and Princess Premier offer savings of 70% or more compared to purchasing items a la carte.
John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises, said: “Great food is fundamental to the Princess Cruises experience. By incorporating our casual dining experiences into the Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages, guests can now indulge in more memorable meals tailored to their dining style preferences without hesitation, all while enjoying unparalleled value.”

With the increase in prices of Princess Plus we would not have value for money. Safe to say after our cruise on Sky on 29th October we will not be cruising with Princess again. Please remove us from your Princess mailing list. Thanks
We travelled with Princess for over twenty years easily gaining Elite status. On our last cruise after Covid we found that this status was no longer of any value. The only way to have any extra service was to pay for Princess plus. When we questioned the elite lady representative we were told that most people preferred to pay the extra!!!
We have not travelled with Princess since as other companies still value us as customers
This is not at no extra cost as people with the princess plus package now only get 2 visits to casual dining whereas currently it is free. Also the activation charge for medallions is a new charge and was previously free so just spin from princess for putting up a load of charges that no one previously had to pay. I think it is pretty poor as our cruise was booked on the basis that all these things were free. A change in our contract with them I feel.
