Royal Caribbean To Have 12 Ships In Service This Summer

Royal Caribbean has announced that it expects to have reintroduced 12 cruise ships by the end of August, with the remainder of the fleet set to the fully operational by the end of this year.

The cruise line also confirmed the debut of new ship, Odyssey of the Seas on 3 July 2021. Following the cancellation of its planned inaugural sailings around Israel last month, the latest addition to the fleet made its maiden arrival into Port Canaveral, Florida, this week.

Freedom of the Seas begins Royal Caribbean’s return to service on 2 July 2021 with a special Fourth of July sailing from Miami to Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

The family-favourite cruise line plans to have ships in service in the Bahamas, Caribbean, Alaska and Europe by the end of summer.

Odyssey of the Seas will sail Caribbean cruises, joined in the region by Allure of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas, Independence of the Seas and Mariner of the Seas.
