Scenic Eclipse II Delayed To 2023

The launch of a second ship set to join the Scenic luxury oceangoing fleet will be postponed to 2023, it has been confirmed.

Scenic Eclipse II is currently under construction at the Maj 3 shipyard in Rijeka, Croatia, and was expected to enter service later this year. The vessel will become sister ship to Scenic Eclipse, billed as ‘the world’s first discovery yacht’ when launched in New York in 2019.

Six-star Scenic Eclipse broke ground with stand-out features including a helicopter and six-seater submarine. Guests of the ultra-luxury cruise line are also invited to enjoy use of e-bikes and kayaks to explore ports, many of which are in some of the least-visited destinations in the world.
