Cunard has unveiled a number of new culinary experiences set to debut on board the remastered Queen Mary 2.
Cunard is already renowned for serving some of the finest cuisine at sea and new dining venues introduced to the flagship will offer enhance the offering even further. New menus and new venues have been revealed, all of them set to whet our taste buds ahead of the official lunch of the Remastered Queen Mary 2 in June 2016.
New venues set to debut aboard include:
A peaceful lounge area offering light breakfast and lunches, alongside speciality tea and coffees and a dedicated patisserie counter.

» Sour Dough Toast with Maple Cured Bacon, Scrambled Egg and Monterey Jack Cheese
» Scandinavian Seafood Platter with Horseradish Cream
Exactly 80 years since the first Verandah Grill took to the seas on Queen Mary in May 1936, Cunard’s signature restaurant will return aboard the Queen Mary 2.
The menu will be a celebration of fine, contemporary French cuisine, with dishes designed to evoke the flavours of great regional cooking from southern France. Expertly sourced produce includes French specialities such as Gascon Black Pig, Chalosse Duck and Bayonne Ham, whilst dishes also showcase ingredients such as Highland Venison, Galician Beef and Amalfi Coast Lemons. The Verandah will serve a fixed price Lunch ($20pp) and Dinner menu ($35pp).

Queen Mary 2 Remastered will debut a completely transformed Kings Court Buffet. New and improved features include new menus, pre-set tables and waiter served drinks, along with the introduction of a brand new American BBQ concept called Smokehouse. Over 80 new lunch dishes and 50 new dinner dishes will be launched in the Kings Court restaurant.

Cunard Grills already afford guests the most sophisticated dining experience at sea but Cunard is seeking to strive for new standards of excellence for its most discerning guests. A new evening menu has been designed exclusively for Cunard Grill guests, taking 12 months in the making and developed in collaboration with chefs from each of Cunard’s Three Queens. The menu will feature a host of new dishes developed exclusively for the entirely refurbished Queens Grill and Princess Grill restaurants.
