In response to growing demand for its 2024 and 2025 season, AmaWaterways has opened bookings for 2026 in Europe, Egypt, Asia, Colombia, and Africa Safaris and wildlife cruises. With a fleet expansion that includes nine new river ships within the next three years, AmaWaterways provides over 40 distinct itineraries across four continents.
After announcing the launch of seven new ships in Portugal, Egypt, Colombia and Europe in 2024 and 2025, AmaWaterways will add two more in 2026. AmaSofia will embark on its voyage along the Danube River for the first time on 24 May 2026. Spanning 14 nights, the Magnificent Europe itinerary traces the paths of historic royalty between the iconic cities of Amsterdam and Budapest.
Simultaneously, the AmaMaya will complement the AmaDara in exploring the Mekong River. Guests can indulge in the seven-night Charms of the Mekong and Riches of the Mekong routes, seamlessly paired with extended land packages. These packages offer an in-depth exploration of Southeast Asia’s marvels, from the ancient temple complex of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia to the urban landscapes of Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Ha Long Bay in Vietnam.
