2020 has only just begun and we can’t believe that last night we took to the stage at the star-studded UK Cruise Awards 2020 to receive the Top Agent award for the 33rd consecutive year in a row for P&O Cruises.
Guests were dressed to impress for an evening of awards, dinner and dancing, during which we were announced as winners of the ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’ for P&O Cruises. Our very own, Helen Moore took to the stage to collect the new addition to our awards cabinet; our 33rd P&O Cruises Top Agent award in as many years.
Speaking about winning an award with P&O Cruises for a 33rd consecutive year, Michael Wilson, Managing Director of Bolsover Cruise Club, said:
To be recognised as the UK’s top independent agent for P&O Cruises for 33 years in a row is a huge achievement for us and one which we are incredibly proud of. Our relationship with P&O Cruises has been nurtured over a great period of time, beginning when the cruise industry itself was still in its inception and SS Canberra ruled the waves. Retaining this award for so long is testament to our unrivalled expertise of the UK’s favourite cruise line.
The UK Cruise Awards brings the industry’s biggest names together to recognise the most successful agents of the previous year and is one of the most prestigious events on the cruise calendar.
2019 was always going to be a hard year to top; we launched our very own in-house Cruise & Stay team in June, by September we smashed the mark for £2million worth of Cruise & Stay bookings and our awards cabinet gained a few awards along the way too, but it looks like 2020 is also off to a promising start.
