Cunard has revealed that the two-star Michelin chef Michel Roux will once again grace the Norwegian waters in 2025, in a second edition of the exclusive Le Gavroche at Sea series.

In the upcoming year, four Le Gavroche culinary experiences will unfold aboard four Fjord cruises. Michel Roux will split his time between the newly launched Queen Anne and the fleet’s flagship, Queen Mary 2, with two events scheduled on each ship between April and August.

Launching the series, Queen Mary 2 will welcome guests for a luxurious five-night gastronomic event at The Verandah, commencing during her week-long roundtrip voyage through the fjords on 6 April. Diners will indulge in a lavish five-course tasting menu, masterfully crafted by one of the globe’s most acclaimed chefs.

Following this, Michel Roux brings his expertise to Queen Anne’s Le Gavroche at Sir Samuels during its 11 May fjord journey. Here, guests will have the opportunity to savour an array of Roux’s trademark seafood creations and refined classic dishes.

The chef makes his return to Queen Mary 2 on 15 August, another chance to experience his exquisite takeover at The Verandah. His final act of this exclusive series brings him back to the Queen Anne, where from 31 August, guests can enjoy the concluding Le Gavroche residency.

Those wishing to partake in the Le Gavroche at Sea experience will be subject to an additional fee, with the exclusivity of the event accommodated by limited seating- 60 diners at The Verandah and 50 at Sir Samuels each evening.

Michel Roux commented: “It is always a privilege to revive the essence of Le Gavroche and I am thrilled to be collaborating with Cunard for a second series of takeovers next year. This project is incredibly rewarding and allows me to craft signature menus that capture the spirit of adventure as well as the art of accessible fine dining. I am hugely excited to get back on board and showcase the beauty of Norwegian seafood to Cunard guests.”
