The latest Edge Class ship from Celebrity Cruises, Celebrity Ascent, will deliver an innovative outward-facing design when she launches later this year. Due to set sail for the first time in November 2023, the new Celebrity Cruises ship will maximise views and outdoor areas, allowing guests to connect with the world around them.
Other revolutionary features are set to include a redesigned Cosmopolitan restaurant, one of the main dining experiences on board, which will be inspired by the culture of Champagne. Meanwhile, three spectacular production shows will be performed in The Theatre, as new interactive digital experiences are showcased in The Club.
Some of the popular Edge Class features will return to Celebrity Ascent, including The Rooftop Garden, Martini Bar, and The Magic Carpet, the world’s first cantilevered lounge and gathering space at sea sits on the edge of the ship.
Celebrity Cruises’ President, Laura Hodges Bethge, said: “I am so excited to introduce the world to Celebrity Ascent and continue the legacy of Celebrity’s Edge Series.
“First launched in 2018, the Edge Series transformed what cruising could be and its ships like Edge, Apex and Beyond quickly became consumer favourites. Continuously striving to offer travellers a better way to enjoy travel and reach the world around them, we are so proud of what we have built and look forward to welcoming both seasoned and new cruisers alike.”
Celebrity Ascent will spend her inaugural winter season in the Caribbean, before relocating to Europe in summer 2024. Check out the sailings here.
