Hurtigruten, who last week shared they would transform three of their vessels to premium hybrid-powered expedition ships, today announced that one of these ships, the MS Maud to-be, would spend its Winter exploring the Norwegian coast, sailing from the UK.
Expedition Norway
Hurtigruten’s brand new programme, ‘Expedition Norway’, features all you know and love about the Norway specialists; amazing ports, unusual adventures and a historic route, but with a premium experience as standard. ‘Expedition Norway’ features inclusive activities every day, free WiFi onboard, spa and wellness areas, inclusive wine and beer while dining and a lecture programme from the ship’s dedicated expedition team.
MS Maud’s new UK sailings
Previously known as MS Trollfjord, MS Maud will be entirely refitted into a hybrid-powered expedition ship and will feature a state of the art science centre, where guests can find out more about the amazing destinations they are exploring.
MS Maud’s brand new sailings, featuring a whole season of expeditions direct from the White Cliffs of Dover, starts in October 2021, but goes on sale 27 August 2019, with fares starting from just £2,974pp.
