MSC World Europa, the cruise line’s first LNG-powered ship, will offer guests an array of culinary experiences when she launches later this year. Passengers will be able to savour more than 30 international and immersive food and beverage concepts on board, expanding MSC’s reputation for offering considerable choice to its guests.
There will be 20 bars and lounges on board MSC World Europa, as well as 13 next-level dining venues that include everything from casual and fun eateries to fine dining.
Highlights will include the new Coffee Emporium. Hailed as the coffee lover’s dream, the sleek and modern venue allows customers to choose from some of the best beans in the world, and their favourite brewing and serving style.
The Gin Project will offer more than 70 craft gins, while the Elixir – Mixology Bar is the place to find cool and edgy cocktails.
As for the dining options, the Chef’s Garden Kitchen focuses on seasonal farm-to-ocean cooking and La Pescaderia provides fresh seafood in a market-style setting.
Jacques Van Staden, Vice-President of Food and Beverage at MSC Cruises, said: “The food and beverage experience on board MSC World Europa – much like the ship itself – has been designed with the future in mind, from sustainable sourcing and fresh farm-to-ocean ingredients, we have pulled out all the stops to offer a varied and unabridged dining offering for the next generation cruiser.
“Each new concept aims to go beyond what traditional venues achieved in the past and focus on crafted, artisanal and immersive experiences that will revolutionise the place dining holds in the overall cruise experience.”
MSC World Europa is currently under construction in France and will welcome her first guests from December 2022. Her maiden season will be spent in the Arabian Gulf, where guests will enjoy seven-night cruises from Dubai.

When are MSC going to arrange coach travel from different areas of U.K. to connect up with their sailings from Southampton.
Hi Jean, as far as we are aware, they have no plans to partner with a coach company as of yet. Thank you.
