Royal Caribbean cruises from Cyprus will operate for at least two summer seasons, as the cruise line announces a series of itineraries for the island. Rhapsody of the Seas will be setting sail in 2022 and 2023, marking Royal Caribbean’s growing commitment to the region.
Ben Bouldin, Vice-President of Europe, Middle East and Africa, Royal Caribbean International, explained how cruises from Cyprus present holidaymakers with an ideal way to explore the Mediterranean.
We look forward to returning to this beautiful island for the next two consecutive summers and welcoming more Cypriot guests on board,” he continued. “I have no doubt that with the ongoing support from the Cyprus Ministry of Tourism and our new sales representatives we are in an excellent position to grow in Cyprus and continue to offer memorable holidays in the region.
Bookings for 2022 and 2023 Royal Caribbean cruises from Cyprus are now open and will sail from the southern city of Limassol. A number of different itineraries are available, including seven-night Israel and Egypt cruises from May to August 2023, and week-long Greek Isles cruises in August and September 2022.
Rhapsody of the Seas will offer a number of experiences tailored to the Greek region, including unique dining and beverage menus and live music.
Savvas Perdios, Deputy Minister of Tourism Cyprus, added:
It has been an honour to host Royal Caribbean in 2021, which was another challenging year for global tourism. We are proud of what has been achieved by both sides and delighted that our collaboration will be enhanced further in 2022 and 2023!
