The newest ship from Royal Caribbean, Utopia of the Seas, has arrived in Port Canaveral ahead of her maiden voyage next week (19 July 2024).

When she launches, Utopia of the Seas will become the second-largest ship in the world with a maximum passenger capacity of 5,668. More than 2,000 crew members were on hand to welcome the brand-new ship to her homeport, before she embarks on a series of three- and four-night weekend breaks.

Highlights of Utopia of the Seas include a Caribbean-themed pool deck, complete with the longest dry slide at sea, The Ultimate Abyss, as well as returning features such as the ever-popular FlowRider surf simulator.

The ship boasts over 40 diverse dining, drinking, and party options, including unique experiences like The Pesky Parrot, a new Caribbean tiki bar, and the Royal Railway – Utopia Station, offering a pioneering immersive dining experience in a train car. With an abundance of pools, adrenaline-pumping activities, and relaxation spots, along with spectacular entertainment spanning air, ice, water, and stage performances, the excitement is boundless. Plus, the adventure extends to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private resort in the Bahamas.

Before she sets sail for the first time, she will be named by her recently announced Godmother, the GRAMMY-winning musician and lyricist Meghan Trainor.
