Viking has unveiled six exciting new itineraries for Asia in 2025, offering exclusive access to Japan, China, and Tibet (Xizang). These journeys, ranging from 15 to 22 days, will take guests through iconic locations in China including Shanghai, Beijing, Xi’an, and Lhasa in Tibet, as well as Osaka in Japan. Viking continues to provide access to unique destinations and ports across China that are typically less frequented. Each cruise is designed to provide guests with in-depth, destination-focused experiences, enriching lectures, and regional cuisine.

These itineraries are now available for booking and will be available from September to November 2025, aboard the Viking Yi Dun – previously known as the Viking Sun. This ship maintains the award-winning design and exceptional service standard of Viking’s ocean fleet.

Highlights of the new Viking Asia collection include a 15-day Jewels of Japan and China voyage from Beijing to Tokyo. and the 22-day 2025 Wonders of China, which operates roundtrip from Beijing.
