Cunard’s Queen Anne will set sail for the first time in May 2024, bringing the cruise line’s innovation, elaborate design, and an unmistakable touch of grandeur to the high seas once more.

The fourth Queen promises a host of new and unique spaces and experiences that have never been seen before the Cunard fleet. Here, we explore just some of the standout features you can expect to find on board.

Bright Lights Society

Bright Lights Society draws inspiration from Cunard’s historic introduction of electric lights to ocean liners. This new show bar breathes life into evenings at sea with its eclectic mix of entertainment, creating a venue that generates a real sense of occasion and excitement for everyone.

“By day, Bright Lights Society affords us another inside venue, and by night it offers something quite spectacular, explains Cunard’s Senior Brand Manager, Francis Fred. “It is a venue with just the right number of guests – that sweet spot of just over 100 people, where the host and the performers can have a real connection with everyone in the room, making it feel cosier and more intimate.

Entertainment will be moving around the space, meaning it’s not just on the stage and the acts can come out onto the floor. The lighting wraps around the venue and pulls everyone closer to the stage so they feel like it’s just for them. The door is closed once it’s showtime, so there are no interruptions and it becomes more of a club-type atmosphere. There is a real feeling of it being a night out.”

No two nights at Bright Lights Society will ever be the same, and with a selection of innovative drinks cocktails to suit, this really is the place to be on board Queen Anne.

Retail Experiences

Queen Anne will truly be a shopper’s paradise, with several brand-new retail experiences gracing her decks.

In the Grand Lobby Boutiques, there’s a personal shopper who’ll help guests find their perfect style. The new ship will also be the first to host a Garrard fine jewellery boutique at sea!

Over at the Queens Room Boutiques, you’ll find new labels being introduced like Raishma, Shaun Leane, and Hugo Boss. Plus, for the first time, there’ll be a dedicated store for all things Cunard Collection-branded, showcasing fresh items inspired by the Cunard archives.

The Grand Lobby Boutiques, designed just for Queen Anne, include the Cabinet of Curiosities and Experience Lounge. The former is a unique round gallery displaying a full view of collectables, jewellery, fashion, and art from partner brands alongside special items from the Cunard archives that haven’t been seen before. At the Experience Lounge, you can enjoy tastings, talk, and try on items as you learn more about what’s available on board Queen Anne.

Harper’s Bazaar x Cunard Wellness at Sea

Cunard is teaming up with Harper’s Bazaar UK – the world’s oldest luxury fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazine – to craft three opulent spa packages for travellers setting sail on Queen Anne.

Each package in the Harper’s Bazaar Wellness at Sea programme offers a rewarding three-day experience centred on detoxing, energising, or relaxing, ensuring guests reach their destination feeling rejuvenated.

For an extra £629, the three-day programmes will include a handpicked variety of spa treatments, an assortment of ELEMIS products, and specially designed nutrient-rich dining options from Queen Anne’s The Pavilion Wellness Café.

The Harper’s Bazaar Detox Journey aims to renew and instil healthy habits and incorporates a cryo-body detox and body sculpting treatment. The Harper’s Bazaar Energise Journey arms guests with a blend of mindful eating, massage and activity, like a bamboo massage. The Harper’s Bazaar Relax Journey entails a series of calming treatments, for instance, a restorative salt stone massage, designed to reset the nervous system.

Each package will also provide guests with a range of ELEMIS products to enhance the programmes.

New Dining Concepts on Queen Anne

The culinary experiences on board Queen Anne will be just as new and exciting – although you can still expect to find old favourites as well!

Aji Wa is an innovative concept for Cunard that will present creative Japanese cuisine inspired by the seasons. Guests can relish sushi and à la carte lunch and dinner menus, with the choice to embrace a special Omakase ‘chef’s choice’ tasting menu in the evening.

Aranya, on the other hand, welcomes guests on a culinary voyage through the rich spice flavours of India. The menus are expertly curated, offering a multi-sensory feast, while the restaurant’s lavish interiors, including striking floor-to-ceiling windows, provide magnificent views whilst dining.

For steak aficionados, Sir Samuel’s is the destination of choice. This premium steakhouse highlights the finest British and Australian beef and seafood, complemented by an outstanding wine collection. The steaks are of the highest quality and prepared to perfection, while a comprehensive range of fish and seafood dishes is also on offer. All produce is ethically sourced to ensure the freshest possible flavours.

Tramonto invites guests to the sun-kissed coasts of the Mediterranean. With a menu bursting with fresh flavours, guests can enjoy dining al fresco and savour the beautiful sunset on warm summer evenings.

Queen Anne also marks the start of a partnership with renowned chef Michel Roux. He will craft a new Gala Evening menu for the Queens Grill restaurant and will infuse the Golden Lion’s dining offerings with fresh creativity, presenting a revamped menu of exclusive new dishes.

New Deck Games On Board Queen Anne

Queen Anne marks the start of a new partnership between Cunard and Pickleball England, which had led to the new ship boasting her very own top deck, state-of-the-art pickleball court. The sport – which is a mixture of tennis, badminton and table tennis – can be played either by singles or in pairs.

Archery will also be new on board Queen Anne, becoming the first ship in the world where guests can master their archery skills with a real bow and arrow.
