MS Richard With
At first this ship may seem to hold a strange title but in fact MS Richard With has the great honour of bearing the name of the founder of Hurtigruten, Captain Richard With. Originally known as Norwegian Coastal Express back in 1893, Captain Richard With established a company that has developed into an enormous impact in life along the Norwegian coast. The MS Richard With was delivered to the Hurtigruten fleet in 1993 and this year was chosen as it was 100 years after the founder completed his first ever Hurtigruten voyage and represented a special time for the cruise line.
