MS Trollfjord
This wonderful exploration vessel is named after the famous Trollfjord, located between the Lofoten Islands and Vesterålen. Trollfjord is one of the highlights of the voyage south, and is famous locally for “The battle of the Trollfjord” which took place here in the winter of 1890.
Norwegian flair flows throughout the ships interior with an extensive use of Norwegian wood and stone. MS Trollfjord made her maiden voyage in 2002 and remains one of the newest ships in the fleet. She is the sister ship to MS Midnatsol and therefore shares a wide range of characteristics. Both vessels provide the chance to discover original paintings by Lofoten artist Kaare Espolin Johnsen.
